This class introduces you to the basics of oil painting with practical applications in layering oil paint, mediums to thin and thicken paint, brush handling techniques, and different types of supports to paint on.

We will also touch on standard painting techniques such as glazing and wet-in-wet applications. Consider continuing to practice the concepts introduced in Introduction to Oil Painting in; Self-Directed Projects. Hands-on practice at your own pace with class discussions and one-on-one instruction.
