Rust Dyeing, Mark Making & Botanical Prints (Sep. 2021)

Art Verve Academy

Learn how to create one-of-a-kind botanical prints. Find out how to use any old, rusted objects to create beautiful shapes or edges on printing paper. Create unique marks or textures that can not be duplicated in traditional drawings or paintings.

Spend the day with an instructor who will demonstrate each technique, get you up and running quickly, and encourage you to play or enjoy the process. Use your end-of-the-day creations as collage elements or backgrounds for other art pieces, or they may be individual works all on their own. No experience is necessary. Simply open to exploring a variety of new tools or innovative approaches.
