The Art of Seeing White
(Dec. 2023)

Art Verve Academy

White objects are never really white. They reflect the colors within the environment that surrounds them. Consider the reflective and luminous possibilities of white porcelain, fabrics, and flower petals. Learn to see and mix the rich colors of a white object against a light background. They are never truly white but have subtle color shifts of their own, and the longer you focus on seeing those colors, the more you will notice.

This class will refine your understanding of color, teach you how to mix a palette with a subtle shift in hue and sharpen your observation skills. You will be amazed at what you notice when you dedicate your time to thoughtful observation!
