Are you ready to stretch your sketching muscles? The habit of drawing ordinary objects in the world around you every day will loosen you up, improve your skills, and boost your confidence—even if you “can’t draw a straight line.” In addition to exploring drawing basics and common utensils, you’ll practice everyday sketching before polishing your final projects. No previous experience is necessary!

Instructor: Susan Richards
Format: Demonstration, discusion, studio practice with one-on-one instruction.
Level: Absolute beginner to beginner; all levels are welcome! No experience necessary!
Medium: Paper, drawing tools, markers, watercolor, mixed media.
Technique: Sketching and adding color.
Materials: Bring any sketchbook and drawing pencils you already own. Ink pens or watercolors are optional; additional supplies will be provided.
