Drawing Facial Features:
Nose (Feb. 2018)

Art Verve Academy
Art Verve Academy - Facial Features: Nose (Feb. 2018)

Discover a simplified approach with expert guidelines to the complex task of drawing human anatomy. Ideal for anyone interested in portraits or figure drawing! Do your noses look like cartoons? The nose characterizes the face in portraiture, but no two noses are alike.

Artwork by Christy Olsen

The key is observation. The nose shadow adds structure and creates the illusion of form. Capturing the value relationships is paramount. We will study and practice drawing the human nose from a detailed plaster cast and a live model. All drawing mediums are welcome!
