Clouds in Acrylic <br/>(July 2026)

Looking for something creative to do this summer? Join us for a fun, friendly acrylic painting workshop focused on painting clouds and atmospheric skies. Spend an afternoon painting, socializing, and relaxing indoors while learning foundational acrylic techniques in a welcoming environment.

Students will explore how to build soft cloud forms using blending and layering techniques, understand how light and shadow create atmosphere, and learn to simplify shapes while painting with confidence. No experience is necessary! Just bring your curiosity and enjoy an afternoon of creativity, experimentation, and painting together.

Instructor: Summyr Lynn
Format: Demonstration, studio practice with one-on-one instruction.
Level: No experience necessary. Absolute beginner to intermediate.

Technique: Introduction to acrylic painting techniques
Materials: The instructor will email the materials list before the first day of class. Note that painters must use drop cloths over tabletops and scrape unused paint into the trash can before cleaning brushes.
